01

Purpose & Coverage

This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes how cancellation and refund requests are considered for educational services sold by Indian Traders Academy (ITA), including its Basic, Advanced and Certified Pro programmes, where these programmes are offered.

The contracting entity is [REGISTERED LEGAL BUSINESS NAME]. This document applies to bookings placed through ITA-operated pages or payment links, subject to any special offer terms communicated to the learner before payment and to applicable consumer-protection law.

If a programme is sold through a third-party marketplace or platform, additional checkout and platform rules may apply. Any applicable terms should be shown before purchase.

02

Information Before Payment

Before enrolling, prospective students should be able to review the relevant programme details, including:

  • Course name, modules, learning format (online / in-person / recorded) and expected delivery schedule.
  • The total payable price, applicable GST and any mandatory platform or processing charges.
  • Included resources, duration of access, prerequisites and requirements for any completion certificate.
  • The actual cancellation cutoff, any permitted transfer options and the refund conditions that apply to their purchase.
Complete before publishing: [LINK EACH COURSE TO ITS FINAL FEE, BATCH/ACCESS TERMS AND REFUND CONDITIONS]. Do not accept payments using an incomplete policy.
03

Cancellation Before a Batch Starts

A student who wishes to cancel a live or classroom course before the first scheduled session should contact ITA using the support method listed below. The request will be evaluated against the conditions disclosed at enrolment and applicable law.

Policy to finalise: request cutoff [e.g. X days before batch start — CONFIRM]; eligible refund or retained amount [AMOUNT / PERCENT / CONDITIONS — CONFIRM]; and whether an alternative batch transfer is allowed [YES / NO + TERMS].

Any cancellation fees, where permitted, must be disclosed clearly and comply with applicable law. Do not impose undisclosed charges.

04

After Classes Begin or Content Is Accessed

Eligibility may depend on whether classroom sessions have started, live classes have been attended, course materials have been supplied or recorded content has been accessed. Different delivery formats can have different cancellation provisions, provided these are fairly disclosed and lawful.

Publish your actual rule: classroom/live course conditions [INSERT POLICY]; recorded course conditions [INSERT POLICY]; course materials or other non-returnable deliverables [INSERT POLICY].

These terms do not exclude remedies that a learner may have under applicable consumer law, including for a service that was not delivered as represented.

05

Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe an amount was charged twice or an incorrect amount was collected, please share the order reference and relevant transaction details through official support. ITA will investigate with the relevant payment service and correct confirmed payment errors in accordance with the applicable payment and consumer rules.

Do not send card PINs, passwords, OTPs or complete card details. You may be asked for a redacted receipt or transaction reference to help locate the payment.

06

Courses Cancelled or Rescheduled by ITA

Where ITA cancels a paid batch or cannot deliver the agreed programme, the learner will be informed about available remedies, which may include an appropriate refund or a mutually agreed alternative batch, consistent with the purchase agreement and applicable law.

For significant schedule changes, students should receive a clear explanation of the available options rather than being forced to accept a new schedule without appropriate consideration.

Confirm your rescheduling and cancellation process: [REPLACEMENT BATCH OPTIONS, TIMEFRAME AND REFUND RULE].

07

Absence, Transfers & Access

Missing a scheduled class, requesting a batch transfer or not completing the course does not by itself establish whether a refund is due. The decision depends on the agreed programme rules, what was delivered and applicable law.

Programme-transfer conditions: [NUMBER OF TRANSFERS, DEADLINE, ANY FEE]. Recording or material access duration: [ACCESS PERIOD / EXPIRY].

If specific sessions or resources are promised as part of the purchase, ITA should explain how make-up access or an alternative solution will be handled when delivery is interrupted.

08

How to Submit a Request

Use the official cancellation or refund contact shown on this page. Please provide only the information necessary to identify your enrolment.

1

Send a request

Email [OFFICIAL REFUND SUPPORT EMAIL] or use the verified Contact Page, with subject Cancellation / Refund Request — ITA.

2

Share order details

Provide your registered name, course name, approximate payment date, order/reference number and a brief reason for requesting the cancellation.

3

Receive a written decision

The academy team will confirm the request status, any approved amount or alternative resolution, and the expected next steps.

Request acknowledgement target: [X WORKING DAYS]; decision or resolution target: [X WORKING DAYS]. These are to be confirmed and must comply with applicable statutory requirements.

09

Refund Method & Processing Time

Where a refund is approved or legally due, ITA will coordinate processing through the applicable payment provider or a permitted alternative payment route, and communicate the status to the student.

Processing target: [X BUSINESS DAYS, SUBJECT TO LEGAL / PAYMENT RULES]. The time until funds appear may also depend on the payment processor or bank.

Where a refund is partial, the written calculation should explain the applicable price components, taxes and any lawfully chargeable amounts. Avoid promising instant credits or an exact bank-settlement time without verification.

10

Refund Situations — Quick Reference

The following table is a guide to the situations covered; it is not a final promise of eligibility until the rules are completed below.

11

Fees, Taxes & Third-Party Charges

Any eligible refund amount should be determined from the amount actually paid, the agreed fee breakdown and applicable tax, consumer and payment requirements. ITA should show course tuition, taxes and any other mandatory charges before a learner completes a purchase.

Where a payment service or course platform charges separate fees, the treatment of those amounts must match the terms disclosed during checkout and relevant law. [CONFIRM YOUR GST AND PAYMENT-CHARGE HANDLING].

12

Educational Outcomes & Market Risk

ITA offers education about Indian stock markets. Learning progress, certification completion and future trading or investment outcomes depend on multiple factors and cannot be guaranteed.

A training programme is not a promise of profits, a trading signal service or personalised investment advice. Claims related to programme non-delivery, misrepresentation or other consumer rights are assessed under the agreed service terms and applicable law, not dismissed merely because a course is about financial markets.

Certified Pro is a course name. Any certificate provided by ITA should be accurately described; it must not be presented as a SEBI licence or government qualification unless independently and legitimately recognised.

13

Legal Rights & Grievance Escalation

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove, restrict or override a consumer's non-waivable rights or remedies under applicable Indian law. If a term conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, that requirement prevails.

If you are dissatisfied with the response to a cancellation or refund request, you may escalate it to [DESIGNATED GRIEVANCE OFFICER / TEAM] at [GRIEVANCE EMAIL]. The acknowledgement and resolution procedure must meet any legal duties that apply to the business and sales channel.
